In the year 1999, the Idelians, who lost their home planet thousands of years ago, finally discovered a planet suitable for survival. Setting their sights on Earth, the Idelians launch a surprise attack and overwhelm the human defenders with their Canglide combat mecha. Only one Earth unit has been able to stand against the aliens: the Special Armored Battalion Dorvack. Armed with their variable combat mecha that can transform from a normal all-terrain vehicle into a humanoid fighting robot, they are mankind's only hope against the Idelian invaders.
